- Execution of survey and subject excursions in the Memorial Museum of complex (20 visitors group).
- Making acquaintance with the museum exposition and aircraft development stages (including mockup and strength test facility). Only organized groups and with preliminary request having done.
- Responding to history and technical questions (requests) of any organization or private persons.
- Making photos or video records of exposition fragments, separate museum exhibits and monuments which are located at the Aviation Complex site.
- Making photocopies of documents which are presented at the exposition or situated at a museum storage according to any organization's or private person's request.
- Selling of an advertisement or souvenir products (with "IL" sign) and aviation literature.

The Memorial Museum of Ilyushin Aviation Complex is situated at the Complex territory. It is located at the Experimental Design Bureau building.
The attendance to museum is limited. It can be visited only in conformity with a request-letter addressed to General Director. This request-letter has to be signed by a head of organization which requests for an excursion and its seal (a sample of such letter is attached). The letter, put in established shape and having General Director's signature on itself, has to be submitted to museum in accordance with existing procedure. So the request-letter is a pass paper allowing to visit different objects of Aviation Complex such as the museum, aircraft mockup and strength test facility.
Main thematic contents of the museum:
- Life and activities of remarkable persons of the home built aircraft: S.V. Ilyushin, G.V. Novozhilov and chief test-pilot V.K. Kokkinaki.
- Ilyushin Complex's contribution to development of home and world's aviation science and technics.
The Memorial Museum was founded in 1979 and based on the memorial office of academician S.V. Ilyushin.
It has total exposition area of 210 square metres (2260 square feet) consisting of five exhibition rooms.
Besides of making knowledged with its exposition the museum can provide visiting of monuments which are situated at the Aviation Complex site and objects of experimental facility. These objects show the main aircraft development and production stages (for example such as the full-scale mockup of Il-96-300 aircraft and strength test facility). There are realized cinema and video chronicles of the main events connected with aviation in the museum. They tell about S.V. Ilyushin and Aviation Complex.
The museum's exposition includes:
- The monument of the aircraft designer, academician S.V. Ilyushin located at the territory of complex.
- The monument of IL-2 attack airplane - the first in the world close-air support airplane which was armoured. This is the real battle plane produced in 1942 (during the Second World War). It was recovered from battle place near Novgorod where it made a forced landing. It was restored by Aviation Complex and mounted on a pedestal in 1978.
- Actual office of S.V. Ilyushin where he was working in his last years.

- The models of aircraft which were developed by Ilyushin Aviation Complex and other home companies (on scales 1:20 and 1:50). There is the model of first Russian airliner IL-86 which has a wide fuselage. It is shown an interior of passenger compartment, cabin and cargo decks.
- The diorama dedicated to the real events of the Second World War which is the evidence of the importance of IL-2 attack airplane in the victory over fascist Germany.
- Genuine objects, photos and documents.
